EU-SAFETY 2025:
The 12th European Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion

We are proud to announce that the iCREATE team recently participated in EU-SAFETY 2025, the 12th European Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion, held on October 1–2, 2025, at the Cultural and Conference Center in Heraklion, Crete.

Empowering the next generation

This year’s theme, “Preparedness to Face the Unexpected,” reflects the conference’s commitment to proactive strategies, evidence-based policies, and cross-sector collaborations to strengthen community and health system resilience.

As part of the iCREATE project, we aim to prepare the next generation of professionals in the field of violence and injury prevention. Transitioning from trainees, iCREATE scholars have the opportunity to present their work and engage directly with professionals at leading scientific conferences — with EU-SAFETY being one of the best in the field.

Through the Experiential Learning Projects (ELP) Awards, but not only, trainees conduct research each year on violence and injury prevention, tailoring their projects to the context of their own countries – the project partner countries: Rep. Moldova, Armenia and Georgia.
