“Nicolae Testemițanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Chișinău is a long-standing partner of the iCREATE project, collaborating on strengthening research and prevention efforts in the field of injury control across the region.
On October 20, 2025, our colleague Patricia Marga, PhD candidate within the Department of Public Health, participated as a speaker in the workshop called “Road Safety: Innovations, Policies, and International Cooperation”, dedicated to improving road safety and organized as part of the 80th Anniversary Congress of the University.
The workshop brought together our dear project partners and collaborators from the Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, and the United States to discuss topics such as best practices in road safety, data-driven innovative solutions, and the importance of collaboration between research, policymaking, and the community.
The event emphasized that road safety is not merely a matter of infrastructure or legislation, but a social and moral responsibility requiring sustained international cooperation.
We express our gratitude to our partners for the invitation and for providing a valuable space for dialogue and exchange of expertise.
